Online Travel Company – led the financial restatement for the prior two-year period. The team implemented new accounting practices to ensure adequate controls over day-to-day processes, yielding restated financial statements, enabling the company to obtain new financing.

Publicly Traded Leader of Aluminum Products – Led the restatement of 10-Q SEC filings. Within 3 months, established a new forecasting and AP processes for the $8 billion world-wide operations.

Fortune 100 Telecom Provider – Led the financial restatement of the world’s largest bankruptcy and fraud for AR, Reserves and Cash restatement of $95 billion. With 15 teams and 100 consultants and within 16 months helped the company emerge from bankruptcy protection and the $11 billion accounting fraud that led to its bankruptcy filing.

Fortune 100 Cellular Provider – Led several compliance and corporate accounting engagements, including reviews of financial statements in preparation for annual audits, enhanced accounting procedures and improved internal controls. Assisting with the two mergers of DCS and BellSouth, and BellSouth and SBC, led 12 teams who assisted in the integrations of JD Edwards and Oracle software.

Fortune 100 Financial Services Company – Led the preparation of real estate income statements provided to the property managers. Aggregated several hundred properties and prepared individual income statements.

Fortune 500 News & Entertainment Company – Led the implementation of a financial consolidation and reporting software application, which consolidated over 200 legal entities. Recommended improvements to the consolidation process – automated several key manual processes enabling faster and more accurate reporting.

Real Estate Company – Created a new budget and forecasting process, and implemented a full automated process for input, aggregation and consolidation of real estate income and expenses. Linked to properties over the U.S. for timely input of data.

E-Commerce Travel Service Provider – Outsourced the General Ledger for world-wide consolidations for a company desiring to file a Public Offering. Provided interim Controller, Manager and ten accounting staff to support this effort. Managed 25 staff, G/L consolidations for 35+ entities. Reduced GL cycle from 28 to 7 days in 3 months. Prepared, 10-Q’s, 10-K and prepared S-1 for IPO filing. Implemented new monthly review of financial statements, creating awareness of operational and corporate staff in readiness for IPO. Managed a review Accounts Payable operations and implemented new procedures, which automated procurement and payment of operations and capital assets. Hired and trained new financial analysts to support world-wide operations, creating a new communication process for the field to corporate headquarters. Created new processes to forecast income statements.
